In a recent survey, more than 80% of Batalha residents feel confident about the future. About half of the population asked answered that they think that the quality of life in the Municipality is better than in the rest of the region. The survey showed figures that reflect a confidence in the future and explain the increase in the population of the municipality between 2011 and 2016.
